The Vinton County Retired Teachers Association welcomes all teachers retired from the Vinton County Schools and all teachers retired from any Ohio school.
According to the VCRTA constitution, the purposes of our organization are:

- To disseminate information to members that is pertinent to their welfare
- To promote fellowship among the retired teachers from Vinton County
- To promote the economic and professional welfare of teachers
- To sponsor and support such legislation in Ohio which shall contribute to the comfort and welfare of teachers
